Mark Timmons, Associate Pastor
Mark and his family came to Friendship in 2018. It is his joy to oversee small groups, Sunday School, children & youth, and worship. Mark earned a Master of Divinity from Southern Seminary and has been serving churches in the Charleston area since returning to the low country in 2014. He also holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the College of Charleston, where as a college freshman he came to know the saving grace of Christ. He and Libbie were married in 2002, and have been given five delightful children: Ellie Grace, Lydia, Simeon, Anna Skye & Eden Joy. Mark’s ambition is to see the Lord build up the local church through the ministry of His Word until they are “mature in Christ” (Col. 1:28) and live as a city on a hill with a compelling testimony to a lost world!
Belinda Swindler, Pianist
Belinda is a hometown girl and knows the "ins and outs" of North Charleston as well as anyone around. Her musical talents are a tremendous blessing to Friendship and our community. She's a vital part of our music ministry and provides tremendous insight to the worship experience of our church.
Ann is also a hometown girl and probably knows the history of Friendship Baptist better than anyone. Her loyalty and dedication to the people of our church is unrivaled. She and her husband John are great team players fulfilling many ministry roles.
John is gifted with a true servant's heart. If something needs doing he is one of the first to help (normally being the first to arrive and the last to leave). John's service comes naturally after watching his parents minister in similar roles at Friendship for many years.
