Why Membership?
We believe that part of being united to Christ by faith is being united to His Body, the church, in membership. The Body has many members, and we believe that each Christian (member) should be connected to a Body.
Church membership is a formal commitment to a particular local church, as a demonstration of one's identification with the universal church. It's about being a member of the family of God and making commitments to that family.

Membership Process
At Friendship, our membership process involves three steps:
- Attend a two-part Membership Class. These are held each quarter and taught by our Lead Pastor during our Sunday School hour.
- Have a follow up meeting with one of our Elders. During this time, one of our pastors will ask you to share your story of how God saved you, and also provide you will information about how to get plugged into the life of our church.
- Be formally presented to the church during a regular worship service.
